Founder of the firm and former Director-General of Dubai Courts, over 25 years bringing institutional judicial experience to the matters that shape the UAE.

His Excellency Tarish Almansoori is the founder of Tarish Almansoori Advocates & Legal Consultants. A graduate of the Dubai Police Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Private Law, he brings more than twenty-five years of experience at the highest levels of the UAE legal system, including a decade as Director-General of Dubai Courts, from 2014 to 2024.

During his tenure leading Dubai Courts, he directed a period of far-reaching judicial reform, modernising litigation procedure, introducing technology and smart-service initiatives, and aligning the emirate’s practice with international standards. Among his most significant contributions was the establishment of Al Adheed, the framework for outsourcing court services that reshaped the logistics of litigation in Dubai and set a benchmark for the wider region.

His influence extended well beyond the courtroom. As a member of the Judicial Council of Dubai and the Executive Council of Dubai, and as Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Dubai Judicial Institute, he helped shape judicial policy, legislative frameworks and the education of the next generation of Emirati lawyers and judges. His leadership was pivotal in managing the emirate’s judicial institutions and safeguarding excellence across its legal sector.

Earlier in his career he held senior positions within the General Command of Dubai Police, including Deputy Director of the General Department of State Security and Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administrative Affairs, roles that gave him a rare, system-wide understanding of how law, security and governance intersect across the Emirates.

Today that breadth of institutional experience informs every matter the firm undertakes. A contributor to the UAE chapter of the Chambers Litigation 2026 Global Practice Guide, His Excellency founded Tarish Almansoori Advocates & Legal Consultants to bring the perspective of someone who has both written and administered the law to clients navigating the most complex disputes in the UAE.
